The Golden Lamb
Ellen & Cale tied the knot in my hometown of Brooklyn, Connecticut. The Golden Lamb Buttery, a classic New England venue was this couple's perfect venue for their wedding day.
Sweeping views of lush fields, mature trees, and old stone walls line the long road leading to the rustic red barn where they celebrated with family & friends.
In the week leading up to the wedding Ellen quickly became a bonafide meteorologist as she was checking the forecast every hour on the hour. Never fear though because
they couldn't have asked for a better day. The trees were nearing peak color and the air was warm to start, but as the sun went down the fall chill set in.
The clouds hung around up until they finished their vows.
Then like a scene out of a romantic comedy the sun shined through the clouds onto the bride & groom as they were pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss.
It truly felt like a sign from the above that these two are meant to be!
Ellen loves horses...no LOVES horses! She was ecstatic when the horses came over to greet them during their photos(there may have been a carrot or two involved). Even Nestle, one of the farm's donkeys came over to say hello.
The night featured hay rides, an intimate and absolutely delicious dinner in the many rustic dining rooms of the Golden Lamb, and an absolutely amazing candy & all things sweets bar.
It was a fun loving crowd for sure. The dance floor was never empty as everyone danced the night away. What do you expect they were all hopped up on sugar! Even Cale got out on the floor to show off a few moves!
We were so honored to be a part of this couples big day. We wish them all the best!
