Private Horse Farm
WEDDING
9.30.17

You don't need to look for a venue when your backyard is a picturesque horse farm that features wide open fields.
Of course this isn't your typical backyard wedding. The attention to detail was second to none with various stations set up that not only looked great but featured some yummy treats.
I hit up the candy bar more than once myself.

The barn on site made for amazing shots, especially the hayloft.
Don't let her small frame fool you, Michelle is a country girl!
Seriously, how many brides do you know who would be willing to climb a ladder in a wedding dress and hike up hay bails just for a picture?
Special thanks to Laura for being such a trooper helping Michelle up the ladder and for being my lighting assistant!

I was also introduced to her horse, who is like a big 4 legged sidekick for Michelle. She has had the horse for nearly 15 years and I can say he seemed pretty protective of her, and loved to give her kisses.
Their other smaller 4 legged pup kids also got involved giving kisses to Michelle for a few pictures.

Matthews catering did a bang up job keeping everybody organized, and the food was stellar!!
I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again!

Jason set the tone for the reception hand picking a group of talented musicians who played a rocking set list that kept the party jumping most of the night.
Jason even got on stage himself and played the drums for a song.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Michelle's late father's best friends got up and sang while Michelle and her brother shared a dance together.

We had a blast not only with Michelle & Jason,  but everyone involved was so kind.
Wish we could do it all over again!
